Welcome

Jan Villarrubia, native New Orleanian and co-founder of DramaRama Inc., is an award-winning, published poet and playwright. Her poetry collection Return to Bayou Lacombe was released recently by Cinnamon Press, Wales. She was invited to read Spring, 2009, at London’s Troubadour and the Millennium Centre in Cardiff. Her published plays include Odd Fellows Rest (Xavier Review Press) and Miz Lena’s Backyard (Dramatic Publishing). Her new play, Turning of the Bones, premiered in New Orleans in March, 2009.  She recently moved into a new home on her property in a bird sanctuary near Lake Pontchartrain.
